Mobile Crack Teams ने lost और stolen mobile phones को trace करते हुए 44 मोबाइल फोन recover किए, जिनमें से 40 मोबाइल उनके rightful owners को hand over कर दिए गए हैं।

बाकी recovered phones की verification जारी है।

NEW DELHI DISTRICT POLICE RECOVERS 44 MOBILE PHONES; 40 HANDED OVER TO RIGHTFUL OWNERS

Remaining Recovered Mobile Phones under Verification for Handover to Owners
In a significant citizen-centric initiative aimed at providing prompt relief to citizens and strengthening public trust, the Mobile Crack Teams of all Police Stations & Spl Units of New Delhi District have achieved success in tracing and recovering lost and stolen mobile phones.
During the period from 01.09.2026 to 10.09.2026, a total of 44 mobile phones were successfully recovered through sustained efforts, technical surveillance, field intelligence and meticulous verification. Out of these, 40 mobile phones have already been handed over to their rightful owners, bringing immense relief and satisfaction to citizens who had lost their valuable devices.

The recovery drive was carried out under the close supervision of all SHOs, Inspector/Special Staff and ACP/Connaught Place. The dedicated Mobile Crack Teams worked relentlessly by leveraging modern technological tools, technical analysis and coordinated field efforts to trace and recover the devices.

The remaining recovered mobile phones are presently undergoing verification and ownership confirmation. Necessary legal and procedural formalities are being completed, following which the devices will be handed over to their respective owners at the earliest.
The successful recovery and return of these mobile phones reflects the commitment of New Delhi District Police towards technology-driven policing, effective grievance redressal and citizen welfare. Such initiatives not only help restore valuable property to citizens but also strengthen public confidence in policing services.
