पुलिस के अनुसार, घरेलू विवाद के दौरान आरोपी पति ने कथित तौर पर अपनी पत्नी पर shaving blade से हमला किया था। मामले की जांच के दौरान पुलिस ने आरोपी को गिरफ्तार कर लिया और वारदात में इस्तेमाल weapon भी बरामद किया।

ATTEMPT TO MURDER CASE WORKED OUT BY PS NAND NAGRI; ACCUSED HUSBAND ARRESTED, WEAPON OF OFFENCE RECOVERED

The team of PS Nand Nagri has worked out an attempt to murder case with the arrest of the accused husband, who allegedly attacked his wife with a shaving blade during a domestic dispute. The weapon of offence has also been recovered.

On 13.09.2026 at about 11:41 PM, information was received at PS Nand Nagri regarding a woman being stabbed on her neck by her husband, with a request for immediate police assistance.

On receipt of the information, police staff immediately reached Gali No. 3, Sunder Nagri. The injured had already been shifted to Rajiv Gandhi Hospital through PCR. At the hospital, injured Sajiya W/o Majid Hussain, R/o Gali No. 3, Sunder Nagri, was found undergoing treatment.

During her statement, the injured alleged that her husband, Majid Hussain, was having an affair with another woman and frequently quarrelled with and assaulted her. About 15 days prior, she along with her three children went to her parental house at Ram Park, Loni. Two days before the incident, her husband and father-in-law persuaded her to return home. After her return, her husband again started quarrelling with her.

On 13.09.2026 at about 11:00 PM, during a quarrel, the accused allegedly attacked her with a shaving blade, causing multiple injuries on her mouth and throat.

Accordingly, FIR No. 508/26 dated 14.09.2026, U/S 109 BNS, was registered at PS Nand Nagri and investigation was taken up.

The Forensic Team inspected the scene of crime and collected vital evidence. A dedicated team led by Inspr. Anand Yadav, SHO/PS Nand Nagri, under the supervision of Shri Gaurav Kumar Tripathi, IPS, ACP/Nand Nagri, conducted sustained efforts and apprehended the accused husband. During interrogation, accused Majid Hussain admitted his involvement in the commission of the offence. The shaving blade used as the weapon of offence was recovered at his instance.
