SPECIAL FOOT PATROLLING DRIVE CONDUCTED ACROSS NORTH-EAST DISTRICT
Senior Officers Lead Intensive Patrolling to Strengthen Police Visibility, Public Safety & Law and Order
During the intervening night of 23/24.09.2026, a special foot patrolling drive was conducted across the North-East District under the leadership of Shri Milind Dumbre, IPS, Jt. CP/Eastern Range, and Shri Rahool Alwal, IPS, DCP/North-East District.
The senior officers personally led the patrolling in the jurisdictions of PS Seelampur, PS New Usmanpur and PS Bhajanpura, reinforcing police visibility and strengthening the sense of security among residents.
During the patrolling, the officers interacted with local residents and shopkeepers, listened to their concerns and assured them of prompt police assistance. Parks, market areas, vulnerable points and other sensitive locations were thoroughly checked, while field staff were briefed to remain alert, vigilant and proactive.
As part of the special drive, action was initiated against 205 persons, and 09 vehicles were seized in accordance with law.
The intensive patrolling and direct interaction with the public reflect the commitment of Delhi Police towards proactive policing, enhanced police presence, prevention of crime and ensuring the safety and security of citizens.
