Operation Kawach के तहत West District Police ने drug trafficking के खिलाफ बड़ी कार्रवाई की है।
PS Naraina और PS Inderpuri की टीमों ने area patrolling के दौरान दो अलग-अलग मामलों में दो आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार किया।
PS Naraina से 97 ग्राम और PS Inderpuri से 19.58 ग्राम smack बरामद हुई।
कुल 116.58 ग्राम smack recovery हुई है।

👉 One accused arrested by PS Naraina with 97 grams of smack.
👉 One accused arrested by PS Inderpuri with 19.58 grams of smack.
👉 Both arrests were made during area patrolling.
In pursuance of the directions of senior officers to intensify action against drug trafficking, teams of PS Naraina and PS Inderpuri conducted area patrolling under Operation Kawach. The action was carried out under the overall supervision of Sh. Hareshwar V. Swami, IPS, DCP/West District, resulting in the arrest of two accused in separate cases and the recovery of 116.58 grams of smack
CASE 1: PS NARAINA
On 25.09.2026, a team of PS Naraina comprising SI Dharmendra, SI Deepak, HC Bhupesh and HC Sunil was conducting area patrolling under Operation Kawach. The team was working under the close supervision of Insp. Dharmendra Kumar, SHO/PS Naraina, and the guidance of ACP/Mayapuri.
The team noticed a person carrying a bag who attempted to flee on seeing the police. He was apprehended, and the bag was checked in accordance with the prescribed procedure. It contained 97 grams of a suspected narcotic substance, which was identified as heroin/smack on preliminary testing.
The accused was identified as Naresh @ Ganja @ Om Prakash, aged 32 years. The substance was seized, and a case U/s 21(b) of the NDPS Act was registered at PS Naraina.
CASE 2: PS INDERPURI
On the intervening night of 24/25.09.2026, HC Satender and Ct. Rajiv were on area patrolling duty under the guidance of senior officers of PS Inderpuri, when they apprehended Sarfaraz @ Mulla, aged 28 years, a resident of JJ Colony, Inderpuri, in possession of a suspected narcotic substance.
The duty officer was informed, and SI Abhishek reached the spot. The FSL team examined the substance at the spot and identified it as smack weighing 19.58 grams. On the statement of HC Satender, FIR No. 221/2026, dated 25.09.2026, under Section 21(b) of the NDPS Act was registered at PS Inderpuri.
PROFILE OF ACCUSED
👉 Naresh @ Ganja R/o Inderpuri, Age 32 years is a Bad Character of PS Inderpuri and has previously been involved in approximately two dozen criminal cases in West District.
👉 Sarfaraz @ Mulla R/o
Inderpuri, Age 28 years has previous involvement in excise and gambling cases. His brother Afroz has been involved in two NDPS cases, while his brother Istiqar is a Bad Character of PS Inderpuri with previous criminal involvement.
RECOVERY
👉 97 grams of heroin/smack in the PS Naraina case.
👉 19.58 grams of smack in the PS Inderpuri case.
👉 Total: 116.58 grams.
FURTHER INVESTIGATION
Further investigation is underway to identify the source of the recovered contraband, trace the wider supply chain and apprehend other persons involved.
