Dwarka District के Anti-Burglary Cell ने एक कथित desperate thief को गिरफ्तार कर चोरी की संपत्ति बरामद की है।

पुलिस के अनुसार, 26.09.2026 को HC Ritesh Kumar को secret information मिली थी कि Sachin चोरी का सामान dispose करने के लिए Mahavir Enclave, Dabri आने वाला है। सूचना के आधार पर टीम ने कार्रवाई की और आरोपी को apprehend किया।
पुलिस के मुताबिक, आरोपी चोरी के जरिए दोस्तों को प्रभावित करने और affluent lifestyle दिखाने की कोशिश करता था।

🔰 ACCUSED IS PREVIOUSLY INVOLVED IN 25 THEFT/BURGLARY CASES.
🔰03 STOLEN MOBILE PHONES, 05 PAIRS OF SILVER PAYAL AND 02 SILVER COINS, RECOVERED.
🔰ACCUSED TOOK TO THEFTS TO IMPRESS FRIENDS, PORTRAYING AN AFFLUENT LIFESTYLE.
🟡 TASKING AND TEAM FORMATION:-
As per directions of Sh. Kushal Pal Singh, IPS - DCP, Dwarka District, a special drive against thieves/burglars/robbers is on. A secret information was received on 26.09.2026 by HC Ritesh Kumar from Anti-Burglary Cell, Dwarka, that a person named Sachin, who indulges in theft, would arrive at Mahavir Enclave, Dabri, Delhi, on the same day to dispose off stolen articles, and that if a raid is conducted at the spot, it could lead to recovery of stolen property.
The information was shared with the In-charge, Anti-Burglary Cell, Dwarka, who directed for immediate action to be taken. Accordingly a dedicated team headed by Inspr. Basant Kumar comprising ASI Rajesh Kumar No. 134/DW, HC Anil No. 1702/DW, HC Krishan No. 687/DW, HC Parveen Kumar No. 1479/DW and Ct. Ashish No. 1854/DW, along with the informer, under the close supervision of Sh. Subhash Malik, ACP/Operation, was constituted and the team proceeded to the spot.
🟡 TRAP AND ARREST:-
The team reached at the spot at Mahavir Enclave, Dabri, Delhi and alongwith the informer, it took discreet positions covering the approach routes to the park.
Shortly thereafter, a person on foot was seen approaching from the side of Mahavir Vihar, whom the informer identified as Sachin.
On being signalled to stop, the accused, on seeing the police party, turned and attempted to flee towards the rooms inside the park, but was apprehended by Ct. Ashish No. 1854/DW, who was covering him from behind.
On being investigated, he disclosed his details as Sachin S/o Satyanarayan, R/o Vijay Enclave, Dabri, Delhi, aged 24 years.
🟡 RECOVERY:-
03 Mobile Phones were recovered from his possession & on being checked, they were found to be stolen, as detailed below:
1. Vivo (Blue) - found stolen vide e-FIR No. 80050183/2026, U/s 303(2) BNS, PS Najafgarh, Delhi.
2. Redmi (Blue) - found stolen vide e-FIR No. 80039109/2026, U/s 303(2) BNS, PS Najafgarh, Delhi.
3. Oppo (Blue) - found stolen vide e-FIR No. 80001695/2026, U/s 303(2) BNS, PS Uttam Nagar, Delhi.
- Further personal search of the accused led to the recovery of a silver coconut-shaped cover containing 05 Pairs of Silver Payal (anklets) and 02 Silver Coins.
🟡 INTERROGATION:-
The accused disclosed that he had stolen these articles about 7-8 days earlier, during night, from a house on 25 Foota Road, Dabri, and was carrying them to sell today.
The recovered jewellery was found to tally with the theft reported vide e-FIR No. 80080835/2026, U/s 305 BNS, PS Dabri, Delhi.
During sustained interrogation, the accused disclosed that he had taken to theft in order to impress his friends and project an image of wealth, so that they would respect him and stay close to him.
The accused, Sachin was arrested U/s 35(1) (A) & (E) BNSS as per law.
🟡 DETAILS OF RECOVERY:-
- 1 Vivo mobile phone.
- 1 Redmi mobile phone.
- 1 Oppo mobile phone.
- 5 (Five) Pairs of Silver Payal (anklets).
- 1 (One) Silver Nariyal (Coconut Shaped) Cover.
- 2 (Two) Silver Coins.
🟡 PROFILE OF ACCUSED:-
- Sachin, S/o Sh. Satyanarayan, R/o M-89, Tamil Enclave, Vijay Enclave, Dabri, Delhi. aged 24 years.
- He is educated up to Class 10th.
- He is prone to committing theft to build a 'big shot' image and flaunt his status and wealth in his friend circle to remain influential and command their company.
🟡 PREVIOUS INVOLVEMENT:-
- The accused is previously involved in 25 cases of theft/burglary in the past.
- Further investigation and verification of involvements in other cases is underway.
