Dwarka Police की AATS टीम ने Illegal International Call Centre Racket का किया भंडाफोड़! पुलिस के मुताबिक, Vipin Garden, Uttam Nagar में चल रहे अवैध Call Centre पर कार्रवाई करते हुए 5 Cyber Fraudsters को गिरफ्तार किया गया। आरोपी कथित तौर पर Amazon और Apple Tech Support Agents बनकर लोगों को ठगी का शिकार बनाते थे। Specific intelligence के बाद टीम ने discreet surveillance और technical verification के जरिए कार्रवाई की। मामले में आगे की जांच जारी है

पुलिस के अनुसार, Call Centre Amazon और Apple Tech Support Agents बनकर लोगों को target करने के लिए इस्तेमाल किया जा रहा था।

⭕AATS/DWARKA BUSTS ILLEGAL INTERNATIONAL CALL CENTRE RACKET; 05 CYBER FRAUDSTERS ARRESTED FOR IMPERSONATING AMAZON/APPLE TECH SUPPORT AGENTS.
🟡 BRIEF FACTS:-
Acting on specific intelligence, AATS/Dwarka team led by Insp. Manish Yadav, AATS Dwarka under the supervision of Sh. Subhash Malik ACP/Operations conducted discreet surveillance and technical verification of an illegal call centre operating from Vipin Garden, Uttam Nagar.
A raid was thereafter conducted on the intervening night of 28-29/09/26, wherein 05 persons were found actively engaged in cyber fraud targeting foreign nationals, by the AATS team.
🟡 TEAM & TASKING:-
Under the directions of Sh. Kushal Pal Singh, IPS, DCP/Dwarka District, a special drive has been launched across Dwarka District against illegal call centres involved in fraudulent and unlawful activities.
In pursuance of the directions, a dedicated team comprising SI Dhananjay Kumar, SI Jitender Singh, ASI Dev Kumar, HC Inder Singh, HC Sandeep, HC Sonu, HC Manish, HC Manoj, HC Pradeep, W/HC Mamta from AATS Dwarka, was constituted to to keep a close watch on such illegal establishments, identify their modus operandi and apprehend the persons/gangs involved in running and operating such call centres.
🟡 APPREHENSION:-
- 05 accused persons arrested for operating an illegal call centre targeting foreign nationals by impersonating Amazon and Apple technical support executives.
- Out of the 5 apprehended, one female has been served notice.
🟡 MODUS OPERANDI:-
The accused contacted foreign nationals through VOIP applications including MicroSIP, X-Lite and Google Voice, impersonating Amazon/Apple technical support executives.
After gaining victims’ confidence, they induced them to install AnyDesk/remote-access software and thereafter deceived them into making payments and/or divulging sensitive financial information.
🟡 RECOVERY:-
* 10 Laptops used for operating the illegal call centre and making fraudulent VOIP calls.
* 04 Mobile Phones.
* 02 Wi-Fi Routers.
* Headsets and other calling accessories.
* Digital evidence, including Google Voice, MicroSIP, X-Lite and AnyDesk, international contact databases, call scripts, login credentials and other incriminating data.

FIR No. 259/2026 dated 29.09.2026, U/S 318(4)/319(2)/61(2)/3(5) BNS & 66(C)/66(D) IT Act, PS Mohan Garden, Dwarka, Delhi.
🟡*DETAILS OF ACCUSED:-*
1. Simranjeet S/o Amarjit Singh R/o Village Miani, Ludhiana, Punjab, aged 33 Years.
- Role : Working as call-centre operator; responsible for operational infrastructure, including allocation of user IDs, passwords and other login credentials to callers on a day-to-day basis.
2. Mark Martin S/o Late Martin Messey R/o New Palam Vihar, Gurugram, Haryana, aged 47 years.
- Role : Actively handled overseas calls and persuaded foreign victims on the pretext of providing technical support services.
3. Elton John Salters S/o Errol John Salters R/Picknik Garden Road, C.N. Roy Road, Kolkata, West Bengal, aged 43 years.
- Role : Operated multiple systems and communicated with foreign victims through VOIP-based applications. Previously involved in the same crime.
4. Abhishek S Abraham S/o J Robert R/o Johns Church Compound, Near Bus Terminal, Mehrouli, Delhi, aged 30 years.
- Role : Worked as a call-centre agent and was involved in executing cyber fraud operations through online communication platforms.
5. Anita D/o Rasika Patra, R/o Argal, Kendrapara, Govindpur Kutchery, Odisha - 755061, aged 34 years.
- Role : Worked as a caller and was found using a dedicated laptop to contact foreign nationals under fictitious identities.
- Further investigation is underway.
