भजनपुरा थाना पुलिस ने मोबाइल स्नैचिंग के मामले का कुछ ही घंटों में खुलासा करते हुए दो स्नैचरों को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है। पुलिस ने आरोपियों के कब्जे से पीड़िता का छीना गया मोबाइल फोन, वारदात में इस्तेमाल की गई मोटरसाइकिल और एक अन्य कीपैड मोबाइल फोन भी बरामद किया है।

घटना 27 जुलाई 2026 की है। रात करीब 9:15 बजे 18 वर्षीय भूमिका मेन वजीराबाद रोड से पैदल अपने घर लौट रही थीं। जब वह जावेद यूनिसेक्स सैलून के पास पहुंचीं, तभी उनके मोबाइल पर कॉल आई। जैसे ही उन्होंने कॉल रिसीव करने के लिए फोन हाथ में लिया, एक युवक ने झपट्टा मारकर उनका मोबाइल छीन लिया और अपने साथी के साथ मोटरसाइकिल पर बैठकर मौके से फरार हो गया।

घटना की सूचना मिलते ही भजनपुरा थाना पुलिस ने तुरंत कार्रवाई शुरू की। पुलिस टीम ने तकनीकी जांच और स्थानीय जानकारी के आधार पर दोनों आरोपियों की पहचान कर उन्हें गिरफ्तार कर लिया। आरोपियों के पास से स्नैच किया गया मोबाइल फोन, वारदात में इस्तेमाल की गई मोटरसाइकिल और एक अन्य कीपैड मोबाइल फोन बरामद किया गया।

फिलहाल पुलिस दोनों आरोपियों से पूछताछ कर रही है और यह पता लगाया जा रहा है कि वे पहले भी ऐसी वारदातों में शामिल रहे हैं या नहीं। मामले की आगे की जांच जारी है।


On 27.07.2026 at about 09:15 PM, complainant Bhumika (18 years) reported that while she was returning home on foot from Main Wazirabad Road and reached near Javed Unisex Saloon, she received a phone call and took out her mobile phone to answer it. At that moment, an unknown युवक suddenly snatched the mobile phone from her hand and fled on a motorcycle driven by his accomplice.

On her complaint, FIR No. 339/26 under Sections 304(2)/3(5) BNS was registered at PS Bhajanpura, and investigation was taken up.

The investigating team analysed the available evidence, gathered local intelligence, and developed leads regarding the culprits. Acting on credible information, a raid was conducted near MTNL Ground, Yamuna Vihar, Delhi, where both accused were successfully apprehended.

During their personal search and interrogation, the police recovered the snatched mobile phone belonging to the complainant, the motorcycle used in the commission of the crime, and one keypad mobile phone suspected to be linked with criminal activity. Both accused were arrested and the recovered property was seized as per law.

• Snatched mobile phone of the complainant.
• One keypad mobile phone.
• Motorcycle used in the commission of the crime.

Further investigation is in progress to ascertain the involvement of the accused in other similar cases.
