द्वारका जिले की एंटी-बर्गलरी सेल ने लंबे समय से कानून से फरार चल रहे एक घोषित अपराधी (Proclaimed Offender) को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है।
गिरफ्तार आरोपी की पहचान शहज़ाद के रूप में हुई है, जो चोरी और लूटपाट जैसे मामलों का आदतन अपराधी है। उसके खिलाफ पहले से 22 आपराधिक मामले दर्ज हैं।
जानकारी के मुताबिक, आरोपी वर्ष 2021 के एक चोरी के मामले में लगातार अदालत की कार्यवाही से बच रहा था। इसी कारण 8 जुलाई 2026 को द्वारका कोर्ट ने उसे घोषित अपराधी घोषित किया था।
लगातार तकनीकी निगरानी, मुखबिर तंत्र और सटीक कार्रवाई के बाद द्वारका जिला पुलिस की एंटी-बर्गलरी सेल ने आखिरकार आरोपी को दबोच लिया।
इस गिरफ्तारी के साथ दिल्ली पुलिस ने एक बार फिर साबित किया है कि कानून से बचकर भागने वाले अपराधियों की आखिरकार गिरफ्तारी तय है।
🟡 TASKING & TEAM :-
A dedicated team headed by Insp. Basant Kumar comprising HC Parveen Kumar No. 1479/DW, HC Anil No. 1702/DW, HC Krishan No. 687/DW Anti Burglary Cell, Dwarka, District in the close supervision of ACP Sh. Subhash Malik - ACP/Ops. was constituted to ARREST/TRACE Proclaimed Offenders/Active Burglars/ Snatchers.
🟡 INFORMATION & APPREHENSION :-
The team was continuously working on technical & manual aspects, in the meanwhile a secret information was received about accused Shahjad S/o Munna Khan who was evading trial in a case and had been declared P.O. from Dwarka Court, that he is currently residing in Mahavir Enclave, Dabri, Delhi.
Acting on this specific information, the team rushed and reached Mahavir Enclave, Dabri, Delhi and laid a trap. On instance of secret information, accused Shahjad S/o Munna Khan was apprehended from Mahavir Enclave, Dabri & subsequently, he was arrested.

- Shahjad S/o Munna Khan R/o Mahavir Enclave Part-3, Dabri, Delhi. Aged 30 years.
🟡 PREVIOUSLY INVOLVEMENTS : 22 cases - With cases like Arms Act, Snatchings, house breaking by night to commit offence, thefts, thefts in dwelling, dishonestly receiving stolen property, etc registered against him.
