31 जुलाई 2026 की सुबह करीब 3:55 बजे, पुलिस को सूचना मिली कि कुछ लोग चोरी किए गए लोहे के रैक के टुकड़ों को एक ऑटो में लोड कर रहे हैं।
सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस टीम मौके पर पहुंची और दो आरोपियों—नौशाद और तनीश को रंगे हाथों दबोच लिया।
आरोपियों के कब्जे से करीब 125 किलो चोरी किया गया लोहे का सामान बरामद किया गया, जबकि वारदात में इस्तेमाल किया गया ऑटो-रिक्शा भी जब्त कर लिया गया।
दिल्ली पुलिस की सतर्कता और त्वरित कार्रवाई से एक और चोरी की वारदात का सफल खुलासा हुआ।
On 31.07.2026 at about 03:55 AM, information was received at PS Seelampur regarding the loading of suspected stolen iron rack pieces into an auto-rickshaw in the area.
Acting promptly on the information, a police team from PS Seelampur rushed to the spot and found Auto No. DL-1RU-8579 driven by Naushad along with his associate Tanish.
During enquiry, the police found 30 iron rack pieces weighing approximately 125 kg loaded in the auto. The occupants failed to give a satisfactory explanation regarding the possession of the iron plates. On sustained questioning, they confessed that they had stolen the iron rack pieces from Shop No. 6, near Gurudwara, G-Block, Seelampur.
Subsequently, the complainant Sh. Subhash Aggarwal S/o Sh. Aggarwal, R/o Karkardooma, Delhi, reached PS Seelampur and identified the recovered iron rack pieces as his stolen property. He further stated that the accused had stolen 30 iron rack pieces weighing approximately 125 kg from his shop. The police team inspected the spot, and collected the vital evidence.
Accordingly, FIR No. 275/2026 under Sections 305(a)/317(2)/3(5) BNS was registered at PS Seelampur, and investigation was taken up.
