नॉर्थ-ईस्ट जिले की AATS टीम ने स्पोर्ट्स मोटरसाइकिल चोरी करने वाले दो शातिर ऑटो-लिफ्टर को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है।
पुलिस ने आरोपियों के कब्जे से छह चोरी की मोटरसाइकिलें बरामद की हैं और वाहन चोरी के छह मामलों का सफल खुलासा किया है।
यह सफलता लगातार सीसीटीवी फुटेज की जांच, तकनीकी और मैनुअल इंटेलिजेंस तथा संवेदनशील स्थानों पर लगाए गए रणनीतिक ट्रैप की बदौलत मिली।
दिल्ली पुलिस का संदेश साफ है—अपराधी कितना भी शातिर क्यों न हो, कानून के शिकंजे से बच नहीं सकता।
On 31.07.2026, acting on a specific secret information, the AATS team laid a trap near 3rd Pushta, Kartar Nagar, Delhi, and successfully apprehended two active auto-lifters while they were riding a black Bajaj Dominar motorcycle.
During verification, the motorcycle was found to be stolen in e-FIR No. 17313/2026 dated 27.07.2026, registered under Section 305(b) BNS at PS Farsh Bazar, District Shahdara. Accordingly, legal action under Section 35.1(e)/106 BNSS was initiated at PS New Usmanpur, and the stolen motorcycle was seized.
The accused were identified as:
1. Sahil (20 years) S/o Sh. Islam Ahmad, R/o 3rd Pushta, Usmanpur, Delhi.
2. Tanish (18 years) S/o Sh. Manish, R/o Gali No. 08, Bhola Nath Nagar, Shahdara, Delhi.
During sustained interrogation, both accused disclosed that they were actively involved in stealing high-end sports motorcycles from different parts of Delhi and adjoining areas. At their instance, five more stolen motorcycles were recovered from their possession.
The recovered motorcycles were found to be stolen from the areas of Farsh Bazar, Shahdara, Jyoti Nagar, New Usmanpur, Laxmi Nagar, Krishna Nagar, and DLF Area, Uttar Pradesh. With these recoveries, a total of six stolen motorcycles have been recovered, resulting in the successful detection of six motor vehicle theft cases.

1. Sahil (20 years) S/o Sh. Islam Ahmad, R/o 3rd Pushta, Usmanpur, Delhi.
Previous Involvement: Previously found involved in 03 criminal cases pertaining to robbery, theft, and the Arms Act.
2. Tanish (18 years) S/o Sh. Manish, R/o Gali No. 08, Bhola Nath Nagar, Shahdara, Delhi.
Previous Involvement : Nil.
Recovery
• Six stolen motorcycles, including one Bajaj Dominar recovered at the time of arrest.
