नॉर्थ-ईस्ट दिल्ली के पीएस दयालपुर पुलिस ने दो आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार कर 37 रील प्रतिबंधित चाइनीज़ मांझा बरामद किया है।
जानकारी के मुताबिक, 1 अगस्त 2026 की रात करीब 11:30 बजे, नियमित गश्त के दौरान एचसी करण पाल और कांस्टेबल राजन ने नेहरू विहार स्थित एक दुकान पर छापा मारा, जहां मोहम्मद रिहान प्रतिबंधित चाइनीज़ मांझा बेचते हुए पकड़ा गया।
पुलिस का कहना है कि इस कार्रवाई से कई संभावित हादसों को रोका गया है और अवैध चाइनीज़ मांझे के खिलाफ अभियान आगे भी लगातार जारी रहेगा।
Crackdown on Prohibited Chinese Manjha: Two Accused Nabbed; 37 Reels Recovered.
In a continued drive against the sale of prohibited Chinese Manjha, the team of PS Dayalpur achieved a significant success by apprehending two accused persons and recovering 37 reels of banned Chinese Manjha, thereby preventing a potential threat to public safety.
On 01.08.2026, at about 11:30 PM, during routine patrolling, HC Karan Pal along with Ct. Rajan reached Shop No. D-1/102, Main 25 Foota Road, Nehru Vihar, Delhi, where one person, Mohd. Rihan S/o Sh. Mohd. Javed, was found selling prohibited Chinese Manjha.
A thorough search of the shop led to the recovery of 06 reels of prohibited Chinese Manjha (comprising 05 Hero Plus and 01 Mono Kite reels), which were seized on the spot. Accordingly, FIR No. 363/2026 under Section 223(a) BNS and Sections 5/15 of the Environment (Protection) Act was registered at PS Dayalpur, and investigation was taken up.
During sustained interrogation, accused Mohd. Rihan disclosed the source of the prohibited Manjha. Acting swiftly on this lead, the investigating team traced and apprehended another accused, Deepak.

1. Mohd. Rihan (23 years) S/o Sh. Mohd. Javed R/o Ashok Vihar, Loni.

2. Deepak (28 years) S/o Sh. Brahm Prakash R/o Indra Market, Loni, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh

A search of Deepak's shop resulted in the recovery of 31 additional reels of prohibited Chinese Manjha, which were seized as per law.
During interrogation, accused Deepak disclosed that he had procured the prohibited Chinese Manjha from Tannu Garg, a resident of Murad Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. Efforts are underway to trace and apprehend the supplier.
Recovery:
37 reels of prohibited Chinese Manjha (06 reels recovered from Mohd. Rihan +31 reels recovered from Deepak).
