उत्तर-पूर्वी ज़िले की ज्योति नगर और नंद नगरी थाना पुलिस ने प्रतिबंधित चाइनीज़ मांझे के खिलाफ बड़ी कार्रवाई की है।
विशेष सूचना के आधार पर दो आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार किया गया और उनके कब्जे से 84 रोल प्रतिबंधित चाइनीज़ मांझा बरामद किया गया।
दिल्ली पुलिस की यह कार्रवाई लोगों की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने और जानलेवा चाइनीज़ मांझे पर प्रभावी रोक लगाने की दिशा में एक और सख्त कदम है।

Staff of PS Jyoti Nagar & PS Nand Nagri Crack Down on Banned Chinese Manjha; Two Accused Apprehended, 84 Rolls Recovered
As part of the ongoing drive against the sale and possession of banned Chinese Manjha, teams of PS Jyoti Nagar and PS Nand Nagri took prompt action on specific information and apprehended two persons involved in its illegal trade. A total of 84 rolls of banned Chinese Manjha were recovered during the operations.
PS Jyoti Nagar: 80 Rolls of Chinese Manjha Recovered; One Accused Arrested
On 04.08.2026, during routine patrolling, a police team comprising HC Ankit and Ct. Rishabh received specific information regarding the sale of banned Chinese Manjha in the area.
The information was immediately shared with the SHO/PS Jyoti Nagar, following which a raid was conducted at a shop located in Gali No. 14, Ashok Nagar, Delhi. During the raid, 80 rolls of banned Chinese Manjha were recovered from the possession of the shop owner.
Accordingly, FIR No. 351/2026 under Section 223(a) BNS and Sections 5/15 of the Environment (Protection) Act was registered at PS Jyoti Nagar, and investigation was taken up.
During sustained interrogation, the accused admitted to his involvement in the illegal trade and disclosed the source from whom he had procured the banned Chinese Manjha. Efforts are underway to identify and apprehend the supplier.

Rishab Jain (24 years) S/o Late Neeraj Jain R/o Gali No. 14, Ashok Nagar, Delhi.

PS Nand Nagri: 04 Rolls of Banned Chinese Manjha Recovered; One Accused Apprehended
Continuing the district's zero-tolerance policy against the sale of banned Chinese Manjha, a police team of PS Nand Nagri comprising HC Fakhruddin and Ct. Shiv Kumar acted swiftly on specific information regarding its illegal sale.
The team conducted a raid at a shop situated in Shah Dairy Wali Gali, where 04 rolls of banned Chinese Manjha were recovered from the possession of the shop owner identified as Amir Khan (32 years) S/o Mohd. Islam R/o Sunder Nagri, Delhi.
Accordingly, FIR No. 425/2026 under Section 223(a) BNS and Sections 5/15 of the Environment (Protection) Act was registered at PS Nand Nagri, and the accused was apprehended.
Accused Apprehended : Amir Khan (32 years) S/o Mohd. Islam R/o Sunder Nagri, Delhi.
Previous Involvement : Nil
Recovery : 04 rolls of banned Chinese Manjha.
