छापेमारी के दौरान 15 जुआरियों को रंगे हाथों गिरफ्तार किया गया।
मौके से ₹3.61 लाख की दांव राशि और जुए में इस्तेमाल होने वाला सामान भी बरामद हुआ।

As part of the continuous drive against organized crime, the Special Staff, West District, unearthed an illegal gambling den operating from a second-floor jhuggi in E-Block, Inderpuri.
On the intervening night of 03/04.08.2026, acting upon specific and credible secret information, a raiding team comprising SI Manish Halda, ASI Ramesh, HC Balwant, HC Dinesh, HC Ajay and Ct. Dinesh was constituted under the leadership of Insp. Rajesh Maurya, Incharge Special Staff and ACP/Ops, with the overall supervision of the undersigned.
After developing the information and mounting surveillance, the team conducted a raid during the wee hours of 04.08.2026 at the identified premises. During the raid, 15 persons were found indulging in illegal gambling activities. A cash amount of ₹3,61,000/-, suspected to be gambling stake money, along with playing cards and other gambling material, was recovered from the spot. All the accused persons were booked under the relevant provisions of the DP Gambling Act.
During inquiry, it was revealed that the gambling den was being operated by Tambi @ Ganesh, a resident of Inderpuri, who was not present during the raid. His younger brother Krishna was found conducting the gambling activities on his behalf and was apprehended from the spot. The gambling den used to operate during post-midnight hours till early morning. Accordingly, a case has been registered at PS Inderpuri under the relevant provisions of law. Further investigation is in progress.
DETAILS OF ACCUSED
👉 Krishna R/o Inderpuri, New Delhi, Age 40 years. He was found operating the gambling den on behalf of his elder brother Tambi @ Ganesh, the alleged kingpin of the racket.
RECOVERY
👉 Cash of ₹3,61,000/- recovered as gambling stake money.
👉 Playing cards and other gambling material.
Further investigation is in progress.
