AATS की टीम ने गुप्त सूचना के आधार पर कई स्थानों पर एक साथ छापेमारी कर अवैध कारोबार का पर्दाफाश किया।
इस कार्रवाई में प्रतिबंधित चाइनीज़ मांझे के 372 कोन बरामद किए गए, जबकि चार आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार किया गया है।
यह घातक मांझा हर साल कई लोगों की जान और सुरक्षा के लिए खतरा बनता है।
दिल्ली पुलिस लगातार ऐसे अवैध कारोबारियों के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई कर रही है।

Banned Chinese Manjha Supply Network Busted; Massive Recovery Made Through Multi-Location Raids.

Acting on specific intelligence regarding the illegal storage and sale of banned Chinese Manjha, a dedicated team of AATS, North-East District led by Insp. Deepak Pandey, IC/AATS under the supervision of Shri Satender Kumar launched a well-coordinated operation on the directions of senior officers. Simultaneous raids were conducted at multiple locations to dismantle the supply network.

On 06.08.26, during the operation based on an input, the team apprehended Kamran, from the area near DDA Park of MIG Flats in Jyoti Nagar who was found in possession of 45 cones of banned Chinese Manjha.

Accordingly, FIR No. 355/2026 under Section 223(a) BNS and Sections 5/15 of the Environment (Protection) Act was registered at PS Jyoti Nagar and investigation was taken up.
During sustained interrogation, Kamran disclosed that he had procured the banned Manjha from Akash and Prem Kumar, both residents of Behta, Loni, Ghaziabad (U.P.). Based on his disclosure, the police team immediately conducted follow-up raids.

At the instance of Kamran, Akash, was apprehended and 46 cones of banned Chinese Manjha were recovered from his possession . Another accused, Prem Kumar, S/o Late Prayag Prasad, was also apprehended and found in possession of 43 cones. Both these accused were operating from Behta, Ghaziabad, from where they were selling/supplying banned Chinese Manjha and kites.

On their disclosure during interrogation, the team conducted another raid in the Ashok Nagar area of Delhi, where 238 cones of banned Chinese Manjha were recovered from the possession of Ravi @ Golu. The recovered stock was intended to be supplied and sold in retail markets across the North-East District.

In total, 372 cones of banned Chinese Manjha were recovered during the operation, dealing a significant blow to the illegal trade of the hazardous material.

Verification has revealed that the apprehended accused have no previous criminal involvement. Further investigation is in progress to identify the source of procurement and other members of the supply chain.

1. Kamran (20 years) S/o Sharafat Ali R/o Rahul Garden, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.
2. Akash (38 years) S/o Jai Singh R/o Behta, Loni, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.
3. Prem Kumar (65 years) S/o Late Prayag Prasad R/o Behta, Loni, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.
4. Ravi @ Golu (27 years) S/o Munna Lal R/o C-Block, Nand Nagri, Delhi
