मामले की शुरुआत हुई 88 साल के एक Senior Citizen के चोरी हुए मोबाइल फोन से।
Cyber Police Station, Central District ने जांच को आगे बढ़ाते हुए जयपुर और मेरठ-गाजियाबाद में एक साथ कार्रवाई की।
जयपुर में एक पूरा फर्जी Call Centre Setup पकड़ा गया, जहां से Servers, Laptops, Tabs और POS Machines बरामद हुए।
कार्रवाई में 9 आरोपी गिरफ्तार किए गए।
पुलिस ने 52 मोबाइल फोन, 145 SIM Cards, 70 Debit Cards, 6 POS Machines, 13 Bank Passbooks और ₹4 लाख Cash बरामद किया।

Digital forensic extraction of the seized laptops, tablets, and phones is actively underway to link the recovered mule accounts with 19 complaints on the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (NCCRP) across various states found in connection with the above module. Further financial analysis is being conducted to map the total volume of money laundered by this syndicate.
Police Advisory for Citizens:
● In the event of mobile theft or loss, citizens must immediately get their SIM card blocked through their telecom provider to prevent fraudsters from setting up unauthorized UPI/banking access.
● Report stolen handsets immediately on the Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR) portal (www.ceir.gov.in) to block the device’s IMEI nationwide.
● In case of any unauthorized transaction, report immediately on the National Cyber Crime Helpline 1930 or log on to www.cybercrime.gov.in.
