On 19.06.2026, a police team of PS Sultanpuri comprising HC Chhoti Lal and Ct. Abhay was conducting patrolling duty in the area. During patrolling, the staff reached near C-Block, Sultanpuri and noticed a suspicious person who tried to hide himself after noticing the police presence. Sensing foul play, the alert police team acted swiftly and apprehended him, who was identified as Rohit.

On 08.06.2026, a complaint was received at PS Paschim Vihar West wherein the complainant stated that while she was standing on the road leading towards Nangloi near Gate No. 1, Peeragarhi Metro Station, and was talking on her mobile phone, two unknown boys approached her. One of the boys came close to her while the other stood nearby. Suddenly, one of them snatched the gold chain and both accused persons fled from the spot.

In a significant breakthrough against organised cybercrime, the staff of PS Cyber, East District, Delhi has dismantled a cyber-fraud syndicate engaged in cheating job seekers under the false pretext of overseas employment with reputed foreign companies, including Toyota Japan and Nippon Steel Corporation Japan. Two accused persons have been arrested in connection with the racket.
